This nursing blanket serves as a light fixative. The person lies under the fitted sheet, has reasonable freedom of movement, but cannot get out. This prevents uncovering, falling out of bed, self-mutilation , pulling incontinence material apart and unwanted getting out of bed. An ideal balance between protection and preservation of freedom of movement.
