Everyone knows that getting your kids dressed, fed and ready for school or day-care in the morning can be quite hectic. But not many people realise what it takes to get these things done when you have a child that requires extra care. It begins with dressing your child: trousers that are too narrow to fit over splints, a T-shirt for which arms need to be angled in all directions, struggling with a coat, pyjamas in which feeding tubes get all tangled up, etcetera.
